IndieCade In Review
by the guys from USC was so fun. Four mad men running around 4 screens looking for our characters and trying to bomb the other team`s castle. I was on the winning team for my game.
Another game I loved was Cogs from Lazy 8 http://www.cogsgame.com Cogs is one of the finest puzzle games ever. Had great fun with it.
Dear Esther is a hunting ghost story pretending to be a game. It uses the Half-Life 2 engine which you have to have installed to play (sic) Dear Esther . Well worth the look.
www.modalkombat.com is not a game you can play. It is an event you have to experience. I had a great time talking to David Hindman and Evan Drummond over the event and loved the way they controlled Super Nintendo and N64 games with guitars.
The highlight the weekend was slipping away Saturday afternoon to spend time with Martha Sigall over at the Culver City Museum. Always a joy to talk to Martha.
