Colin White went to college at Passmores from 1962 to 1969, and then transferred to Bournemouth and Poole College of Art for Film Production, Photography and Film Production from 1970 to 1973. He worked on multiple different animation projects for feature films and television series, as well as some artist/animation work for other companies (such as documentaries or commercials). He now works at Brown Bag Films (located in Dublin) and lives in Twickenham, United Kingdom.

Colin White worked from 1980 to 1982 at Nepenthe Productions in the UK, where he worked on “Watership Down” and “The Plague Dogs.” He was an animator at Animation Partnership (which makes high quality commercials, special effects, title sequences, and documentaries) from 1983 to 1985. He was an animator at Hibbert Ralph Animation (an award-winning animation production company) from 1983 to 1985 in Soho, London. He was a character animator for Walt Disney Feature Animation from 1985 to 1986. He was the animation director at TVC (BBC TV Cartoons) for “The Poddington Peas” from 1986 to 1987. Also during that time, he was a character animator for “Who Framed Roger Rabbit.” From 1998 to 1999, he worked as a supervising director at John Carey Productions. He was a storyboard artist at Telemagination for “Heidi” (2005/II) from 2004 to 2005. He was a Timer for GHCF during 2005. He was a storyboard artist for Zoo Films for “The Tale of Jack Frost” from 2003 to 2007. He worked at Telemagination again as a layout supervisor during 2007. He was the assistant director for BKN during 2007 as well. In 2008, he was a storyboard artist for Spider Eye Ltd on the “Jungle Junction” television series. From 2007 to 2009, he was working as a storyboard artist for “Fantastic Mr. Fox.” He worked as an animator at Mirage Films Ltd (a TV commercial, corporate, and documentary film and video production company) in 2009. He worked on storyboard for HIT Entertainment's “Mike the Knight” television series during 2011 in London, UK. Currently, Colin White works as a storyboard artist at Brown Bag Films, located in Dublin.
