Animation By Larry Loc

PREREQUISITE BRAG BLURB:

Larry Loc is a Stop Motion and 3-D computer animator, an animation educator, and a person fascinated with
the history of animation and videogames.

He started the State Funded Central County Regional Occupational Program Animation Department in 1995
and ran it until its demise in 2001.

He created the Cal State Fullerton Extensions 3-D Computer Modeling class in 2001.

He has taught at Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Fullerton Extensions, Laguna College of Art & Design,
Brooks College,
and a number of high schools in the Orange Unified School Distract. He has been a Guest
Lecturer at Santa Monica College Academy of Entertainment Technology. And has Mentored Stop Motion
at Woodbury University.

The co-founder of the Southern California Animation Educators` Forum and the event panner for their first student
animaiton festival, he was also a member of the Executive Board of ASIFA-Hollywood, the International Animated Film
Society from 2002 to 2008. where he was the founder and an active member of ASIFA-Hollywood's Animation Rescue
Team.
He was one of the ASIFA Board members most responsible for establishing the Gaming Animation Annie Award
and was the Nominating Chair of that committee since the inception of the award until his retirement from the board.

The author of Animation on a ShoeString (tm) Building a Low Cost Animation Studio with Your Home
Computer, versions 1 through 8.

He has been presenting animation history screenings and teaching animation seminars at San Diego Comic Con International
since the turn of the century.
