Larry Loc is a Stop Motion and 3-D computer animator, an animation educator, and a person fascinated with
the history of animation and videogames. He started the State Funded Central County Regional Occupational Program
Animation Department in 1995 and currently teaches at several colleges and universities. The Co-Founder of the
Animation Educators` Forum. He was an active member of the Executive Board of ASIFA-Hollywood from 2002 to 2008.
The author of "Animation on a ShoeString Building a Low Cost Animation Studio with Your Home Computer" Editions
1 - 9. Volunteer Director for IndieCade, The International Festival of Independent Games (2008-2011). A judge for the
AniMazing Spotlight Animation Festival. He also designed and has cast the trophy for the AniMazing Festival (since 2009).
He has been presenting animation history screenings, Studio building seminars and teaching Stop Motion at San Diego
Comic Con International since the turn of the century.
